Lightroom Preset: Cinnamon ND

Artikel ini juga tersedia dalam Bahasa Indonesia.

After going back and forth for a while, I finally mustered the courage to share my own Lightroom preset: Cinnamon ND. The reason was that I doubted whether the results of my preset would be as good as others. But after trying it on many photos I took using the Lumix GX7, I really love the results. That’s why I want to share it with you all!

I created this preset because I wanted my Instagram and other social media profiles to have consistent content. My family and I love visiting nature spots with green vibes from trees and golden yellow from the morning/evening sun. Therefore, this preset is designed with:

  • Muted, Deep Greens: I love this preset when it meets green foliage, making it look dark, moody, yet elegant.
  • Soft, Filmic Contrast: Lowered contrast in the midtones and a bit of film grain give the photos a film-like look.
  • Glowing Skin Tones: This preset brightens and adds a slight orange tint to skin tones, ensuring the subject remains the center of attention.
  • Cinematic Split Toning: Orange tones in the highlights and midtones, along with dark blue in the shadows, ensure the photo has a cinematic color contrast.

This preset might not be a one-click solution for all photos, as camera and lighting combinations can vary. So you might need to adjust settings like Exposure and Temperature / Tint to your liking.

I’m sharing this preset for free! In the bundle, I’ve included the .xmp file for Lightroom on PC and .dng for Lightroom Mobile, along with brief installation instructions.
